Q&A before you buy
Here are the most common questions about Little Cocoon shipping, delivery, returns, and exchanges.
Shipping policy
Where do you ship from?
Most in-stock Little Cocoon items ship directly from Vancouver, Canada. If an item is marked in stock, we prepare it from our local inventory whenever possible.
How soon will my order ship?
In-stock orders are usually shipped within 2 days after the order is placed. During holidays, sales, or severe weather, processing may take a little longer.
Do you offer local Vancouver delivery?
For Vancouver-area customers, local delivery may be available for in-stock items. Delivery timing depends on inventory and route availability. If you need an item urgently, please contact us before placing your order.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes. We ship across Canada. Shipping rates and available methods are shown at checkout. Orders over the current free-shipping threshold shown on our website may qualify for free Canada-wide shipping.
Returns and exchanges
Can I return a silk duvet?
Because bedding is a personal-use item, returns are accepted only when the item is unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery before sending anything back.
Can I exchange my order?
Exchanges may be accepted for unused and unwashed items in original condition, depending on stock availability. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include your order number.
What items cannot be returned?
Used, washed, damaged, stained, scented, or altered bedding cannot be returned or exchanged. For hygiene reasons, items without original packaging may also be refused.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the package and item. We will review the issue and help make it right.
Who pays return shipping?
Unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of a returned package without tracking.

Creating a Calmer Sleep Environment
A calmer sleep environment can come from a few repeatable choices: softer light, predictable sound, a darker room, comfortable bedding, adjustable layers, and a clear stopping point for phone use.
What is a sleep environment?
A sleep environment is the combination of room conditions, bedding, and habits around bedtime. It can include lighting, sound, darkness, temperature, texture, and how you use screens in the bedroom.
Does bedding texture matter for sleep?
Texture can affect comfort. There is no single best fabric for everyone, so choose bedding that does not feel rough, stiff, overly heavy, or distracting against your skin.
Is breathable bedding helpful for hot sleepers?
Breathable, adjustable layers may help hot sleepers feel less confined than one heavy, bulky layer. Room temperature, sleepwear, humidity, and individual preferences also affect nighttime comfort.
How do I stop scrolling in bed?
Start with one practical boundary: charge your phone beyond arm's reach, set a stopping time, or scroll somewhere other than the bed. Replace the final few minutes with a low-attention activity you can repeat.
